Sorades is an award-winning real-time strategy game, originally released in 2006 as freeware. A commercial version of the game (version 1.3) was released in 2008. In the campaign mode, the player assumes the role of a general who has to defend the planet against an alien species. Skirmish maps, in which the player can take control of either the humans or the aliens, are available, too. The game won the Gamesload Newcomer Award at the German Game Developer Awards 2006.
