心理追凶 第三季是一部剧情,悬疑,惊悚,犯罪片，英国ITV开始根据英国女作家Val McDermid的破案小说Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"Mermaids Singing"和"Shadows Rising"改编的英国悬疑破案剧集。之后又由其他人续写，后来在第四季度第二集"Torment"又改编自Val McDermid的Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"The Torment of Others"。 Dr. Tony Hill 这个角色是个大学里面的法庭心理学家，他一起与一位非常干练的女刑事探员Carol Jordan 合作破了一个又一个非常棘手的悬疑案件！
With DCI Carol Jordan in the hospital after being mugged and struck by a car, psychologist Tony Hill assists the police in cases of missing children. The profile in this case is odd. The children are being abducted and held for several days before being killed, but the children are not sexually molested. The children all come from either broken or abusive homes and it is apparent that the killer either knew them or had access to information about them. In all cases, the children were induced to run away. As they research the case, the police realize that these murders have a long history and involve many children.
